How much do you charge for fitting?

We generally allocate the entire day to each customer so there's no pressure to rush the installation. Although many jobs take between 3 and 5 hours, we prefer to have the flexibility to complete the work to the highest standard, thoroughly test everything, and answer any questions you may have before you leave.

Typical Lighting Installation

A typical installation consists of:

  • HEX ezCAN
  • Pair of auxiliary lights
  • DENALI SoundBomb horn
  • Additional rear brake light

For this type of installation, our fitting charge is typically between £349 and £399, depending on the motorcycle and the complexity of the installation.

HEX ezCAN PURE Installations

HEX ezCAN PURE installations are from £449.

Unlike a traditional bike-specific HEX ezCAN, the PURE is not a true plug-and-play installation. Even where a bike-specific integration harness is available, the installation still requires considerably more configuration, wiring, and testing than a standard ezCAN installation.

Because of this, we generally ask customers to leave their motorcycle with us for the day to allow sufficient time to complete the installation, configure the system correctly and carry out comprehensive testing before collection.

Jekill & Hyde Exhaust Systems

Installation of a Jekill & Hyde exhaust system is typically £499.

If you're having additional accessories installed during the same visit (such as lights, cameras or other accessories), there are often savings to be made by combining the work into a single installation.

Full Decat Header System & ECU Remap

Installation of a full decat header system with ECU remap is typically £499.

If you're combining this with other work, such as a Jekill & Hyde exhaust or a complete lighting installation, we'll provide a bespoke combined quotation, which is usually more cost-effective than booking each installation separately.

Bespoke Installations

If your requirements are a little out of the ordinary, or you're planning multiple accessories, please contact us through our Contact page and we'll be happy to provide a bespoke quotation based on your exact requirements.

Payment

All installation quotations are provided by A Bike Thing, regardless of whether your installation is carried out at our Derbyshire headquarters or by one of our authorised installation partners.

Installation charges must be paid to A Bike Thing in advance of your installation date. This allows us to confirm your booking and ensures your installation partner is instructed accordingly.
